Spider & Point-Fixed Glazing
Spider glazing is a point-supported glass system where panes are carried on stainless-steel routel fittings rather than a continuous frame. Fenza supplies 2- and 4-arm spider systems on glass fins, tension rods or a steel back-structure for atria, lobbies, entrance screens and canopies.

About spider & point-fixed glazing
- What is spider glazing?
- Spider (point-fixed) glazing supports toughened glass at its corners using stainless-steel spider fittings and routels, instead of a framed edge. It creates a highly transparent facade ideal for atria and entrances.
- What supports point-fixed glazing?
- The spider fittings mount on a secondary structure — glass fins, tension-rod trusses or a steel back-frame — selected for the span and wind load of the opening.
